This week Ron made his bid for office official with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections as well as the FEC. It was a significant move forward for the campaign, months of hard work laying the framework for the campaign will culminate this Friday, November 29, 2019, with his public announcement.
Why is he running for Congress?
"If not him, who? If not now, when?" Ron has been engaged in supporting local politics the last few years, and currently serves on both the Democratic Central and Executive Committees. He's committed to unifying Ohioans in the 16th District, by taking the issues impacting their daily lives, and making sustainable improvements through legislation in the United States House of Representatives.
What will be his Top 3 priorities when elected?
Addressing Climate Change, by investing in sustainable solutions that drive economic growth, but also result in lowering our Nation's carbon footprint.
When people in America are suffering from treatable diseases due to rising health care costs, everything else becomes tantamount to trivial. Ron will fight to improve access to healthcare and support legislation to stabilize prescription costs.
Our government needs to invest in public education, fostering a system that is adequately funded to meet the needs of the whole child. We must ensure that students are elevated to the level of opportunity upon graduation.
